Their latest picture quiz game is all about these cartoon and video game characters from Japan. Originally designed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, Pokemon games are a worldwide craze. You might recognize many of these Pokemon from the popular TV show, too. But with nearly 400 Poke Icon answers to guess, what’s a fan to do? There are too many to memorize. Your road to becoming a Poke Icon answers master starts here! Click the link at the top of the page to download the app from iTunes. Poke Icon is an iOS-only game for now, but we hope it’ll come to Android soon. Of course, there are lots of apps for guessing Pokemon. If you want to guess newer Pokemon names, we recommend iGuess for Pokemon. But Poke Icon has quickly become our favorite new game for guessing older Pokemon.

When you start playing the game, the first of your Poke Icon answers will be easy to fill in. The “tutorial” level has a picture of Lugia, a legendary Pokemon from the second generation of games. The letters of its name will be in order from left to right, so just type them in by using the letter bank. You’ll use this to enter all of your Poke Icon answers, much like other quiz games.

Poke Icon is a pretty simple game. If you’re familiar with popular quizzes like 100 Pics, you’ll already know how the app works. Each level will give you a picture of a Pokemon and some scrambled letters. Find the correct letters and enter them in the right order to win. If you can’t immediately figure out the Poke Icon answers for any given levels, you can use hints. Buy hints with coins you earn from correct answers. You can spend 40 coins each to remove all unneeded letters, or to reveal one letter in the right position. Or you can spend 200 coins to skip the question entirely. But there’s no reason that you should ever skip a level. For one thing, then you’d never be the very best!
