Godus wiki and gameplay guide for Peter Molyneux’s latest god game for PC, iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Godus is Molyneaux’s first game in the genre in many years, since his award-winning Black and White series. Godus was also built by the team at 22Cans behind Curiosity–What’s in the Box?, an experimental game from 2013. In Godus, you play a new deity leading its followers to the Promised Land. As you gain more followers, you will be able to unlock more Godus features and powers. There’s so much to do in Godus, you might feel overwhelmed at times! To be a great Godus player, you’ll need to juggle a lot of tasks at once. Our Godus wiki and gameplay guide has all the tips you need to become a fearsome god.

Godus Wiki and Gameplay Guide

Most of your time in Godus will be spent building more Abodes to increase your population. This is the fastest way to get more cards. You should have your builders working as much as possible, and make room for more Plots whenever you have enough Belief in the beginning of the game. Removing rocks and trees is a great way to pick up some extra Belief if you’re low.

Belief is primarily collected from Abodes. Check in on your Abodes every ten to fifteen minutes to collect the Belief that’s accumulated there. You can also spend diamonds to get lots of Belief at once, but this isn’t a very good use of diamonds unless you don’t mind buying more. You can also sacrifice followers to the Pit of Doom to gain Belief, but this will cause the rest of your followers to lose happiness.

While your followers work, keep an eye on their stamina levels. Over time, they’ll get tired and need to rest. You can prevent this by tapping the green icon with the flexing arm. This will refill their stamina so they can get right back to work. With more builders at work, you’ll be able to get more Abodes set up in less time.

You can also speed up your individual Abode building time by leashing your builders to specific tasks. This will cost a decent amount of Belief, but is definitely worth it.

While your followers work, you’ll have to keep them safe from threats like Champions. If you don’t have the meteor god power, it’s tough to get rid of these enemies permanently. But you can shape the land around Champions so that they can’t get to your followers. Once you’ve got the power to kill them, you can restructure the land to accommodate more Abodes.

As you gather cards, you’ll need to fill some of them with stickers. You can get these from chests or buy them. There are lots of chests in the game, though, so you shouldn’t need to buy sticker packs. But different cards need different stickers. Once you can go on the Voyage of Discovery, you’ll be able to get better stickers of all five types that have multiple icons on them. Use these to unlock Advance Cards faster.
